The Haw Creek Church, built in 1872 is a spectacular church setting/ceremony destination, that is surrounded by beautiful 150 year old live oak trees. Just above the front door inside the church is a phrase that is written in German. This is the English interpretation “I call the Living to the Church and the Dead to the Grave.” This phrase is engraved on the original bell in the church bell tower. It was handcrafted in New York in 1870.
The church has been renovated and is ready for the bride and groom. An artful hand-painted stenciled ceiling takes you back in time . Other amenities:
